DALLAS - Grocery stores in North Texas are pulling possibly tainted eggs.
A Wal-Mart spokesperson told News 8 some of its Dallas-Fort Worth stores have been impacted by the national recall.
All have removed the recalled eggs from shelves.
The national recall now involves more than half a billion eggs.
It was expanded Saturday to include five more brands: Hillandale Farms, Sunny Farms, Sunny Meadow, Wholesome Farms and West Creek.
More than 1,000 people have been sickened by salmonella nationwide.
Some cases have been reported in the Central Texas area.
