Gas prices continue to climb in Texas.
The average per gallon continues to approach the $3 mark for the first time since October of 2008.
Prices are averaging $2.96 per gallon across Texas, a two cent increase from last week.
The most expensive gasoline is in Dallas, where the average price rose two cents to $2.98 per gallon.
Nationally, the average price rose two cents to $3.11.
