DALLAS - Health officials on Monday reported Dallas County's 17th death linked to the swine flu virus.

Dallas County Health and Human Services said a 51-year-old Dallas County man who died recently was infected with H1N1. The patient was said to have had underlying medical conditions.

The victim's name was not released.

The health department urges everyone to get an H1N1 flu shot as soon as possible. Contact your doctor to check availability.

After administering about 10,000 doses of the vaccine to residents without health insurance last week, the county has exhausted its supply. There is no word when more will become available.

Health officials say these groups face the highest risk of infection and should get the vaccine first:

??pregnant women

??health care and emergency medical services personnel

??people who live with or care for children younger than 6 months of age

??people between the ages of 6 months to 24 years old and people ages 25 to 64 years old with chronic medical conditions
