With triple-digit temperatures expected next week in North Texas, it's more important than ever to remind parents how quickly a car can get dangerously hot.
News 8's Wyatt Goolsby went to Children's Medical Center to demonstrate. They have a truck set up that shows the temperature outside, and the temperature inside the car. Even with the outside temperature under 92 degrees Wednesday afternoon, the temperature inside the car reached a stunning 137 degrees.
