FAIRVIEW — Collin County shoppers have more choices than ever. Tuesday was the ribbon-cutting for Dillard's at The Village at Fairview.

It becomes the third anchor store of the new development, and it is one of 15 shops and restaurants that opened within the past week.

The other new tenants are be-dazzled, Buckle, Dallas Cowboys Pro Shop, Flower Pot, Freedom Parc, Great American Cookie, Paciugo, Papaya, Pappagallo, Purple Cow, Sole, Texas Memories, Toni & Guy and Toys Unique.

The Village at Fairview is a 400-acre, mixed-use development on Stacy Road just off U.S. Highway 75. Macy's and JCPenney stores  opened earlier.

New openings later this year include The Container Store, Gold Class Cinemas and Whole Foods Market.
