Gunter nursing home closing in face of financial realities

By the day, the Hilltop Haven facility becomes emptier. The long-time nursing home in Gunter has become a victim of economics. It is scheduled to close mid-March. It was one of three campuses for Christian Care Centers. But the Hilltop Haven was the original; built and started in 1947.
