IRVING - The City of Irving made it clear Monday night it wants to start over with a new developer on the Las Colinas entertainment center project.

Progress has been halted since News 8 first started asking question about the project several years ago.

The $250 million entertainment complex was to feature restaurants, clubs and music stages. The City of Irving has already spent $37 million on the project, but nothing has been built.

At Monday's Irving City Council meeting, the council voted to end its relationship with the current developer and start over.

News 8's Jonathan Betz reports.
