American Airlines plans to start new service from Chicago to Beijing May 25.
The Fort Worth carrier has delayed the launch date twice because of concerns about runway space, and the landing and departure times at Beijing Capital International Airport.
American finally worked out a schedule with the airport.
There will be four weekly, nonstop flights from Chicago O'Hare International Airport: Friday and Saturday departures will leave at 8:30pm, while Tuesday and Thursday flights will depart at 9:30pm.
Return flights from Beijing will arrive in Chicago at 7:49am Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, and at 6:49am on Tuesday. The first flight from Beijing to Chicago leaves May 27.
Planes will offer 14 First Class seats, 37 Business Class seats, and 194 Economy seats.
A spokesperson for American says the airline will try to offer better arrival and departure times in the future.
American will offer daily flights from Chicago and Beijing starting in July.
