Grain futures higher, livestock prices lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures were lower Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery fell 7.50 cents to $6.46 a bushel; December corn fell 10 cents to $4.7550 a bushel; December oats were 2 cents lower at $3.3425 a bushel; while November soybeans declined 12.75 cents to $12.9050 a bushel.

Beef and pork prices were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle rose .8 cent to $1.2815 a pound; September feeder cattle rose .30 cent to $1.5825 a pound; while October lean hogs were .48 cent higher at $.8695 a pound.
