Grain futures higher, livestock prices lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures were higher Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery rose 10 cents to $6.535 a bushel; December corn rose 22 cents to $4.8550 a bushel; December oats were 6.25 cents higher at $3.3625 a bushel; while November soybeans advanced 44 cents to $13.0325 a bushel.

Beef was higher and pork prices were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle rose .15 cent to $1.2807 a pound; September feeder cattle rose .28 cent to $1.5795 a pound; while October lean hogs were .25 cent lower at $.8647 a pound.
