Grain futures higher, livestock prices lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures were lower Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery fell 6 cents to $6.435 a bushel; December corn fell 8.75 cents to $4.6350 a bushel; December oats were 1.25 cents lower at $3.30 a bushel; while November soybeans fell 6.50 cents to $12.5925 a bushel.

Beef was mixed and pork prices were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle fell .18 cent to $1.2792 a pound; September feeder cattle rose .60 cent to $1.5767 a pound; while October lean hogs were .58 cent lower at $.8672 a pound.
