DALLAS - Hundreds of people flocked to downtown Dallas for the 2010 World Cup.

Soccer fans packed into Victory Park for WFAA's big watch party.

Then a couple hours later, everyone got to see the USA battle it out with England.

The game was shown on all the big screens, in high definition.

More soccer fans followed the beer, catching the match with friends at The Londoner.

People started showing up at 6 a.m. in Dallas.

It was standing room only, with more people spilling into the parking lot.

The general manager says the World Cup is a great event for local bars, because it generates so much business.
