GRAND PRAIRIE -- A third child has died following a crash Sunday afternoon in which a truck crashed into a stalled-out car on Interstate-30.

Jesus Gonzalez, 6, was taken off life support Monday night. His two sisters, Maria Gonzalez-Refugio, 12, and Dianna Gonzalez-Refugio died Sunday after the accident.

The fourth child in the car, Maria de Jesus Gonzalez, 10, remains in critical condition.

The mother and driver of the vehicle, Maria Francisca Vasquez, and her husband, Juan Gonzalez, received minor injuries. Juan Gonzalez got out of the car and was attempting to alert other motorists when the crash occurred.

The driver of the truck that hit the family's car said he did not see the vehicle as he was switching lanes.

Grand Prairie police said donations to the Diana, Maria and Jesus Gonzalez Memorial Fund can be made at any Wells Fargo bank branch by referencing Account #9920146298.
