ROWLETT -- A group of people are wanted by multiple police organizations in North Texas for conducting a fraudulent credit card ring.

Rowlett police say the group has been stealing credit card numbers, creating fake cards, and making purchases at stores across the North Texas area.

The group of four is suspected of using the fake cards at stores, particularly Home Depot, in Plano, McKinney, Rockwall, Wylie, Rowlett, Arlington, Richardson, Balch Springs, Garland, North Richland Hills and Keller.

In each instance, the suspects buy things in the self-checkout aisle and then use the fake credit cards to buy VISA gift cards.

The suspects are described as:

  • A heavy-set woman with short dark hair and glasses
  • A white woman with dirty blonde hair
  • A black bald man with a medium build
  • A thin white man with brown hair

Law enforcement officials believe the suspects are driving or riding in a white Dodge truck with four doors, large wheels and a sunroof.

If you have any information on these individuals, you are asked to call Rowlett police at (972) 412-6293.
