MANSFIELD — Emergency crews rushed to the scene of a crash near Legacy High School involving two pick-up trucks around 11:10 a.m. Wednesday.

The front ends of both trucks were damaged in the accident on Main Street less than a mile northwest of the school near Fern Drive.

News 8 has learned that a current Legacy High student and a former student were in the vehicles. CareFlite was used to airlift one person to a nearby hospital.

The conditions of the patients were not available.

Mansfield police spokesman Thad Penkala said the cause of the crash was under investigation.
