SAGINAW — Police in Saginaw have asked for the public's help in finding a woman who may be linked to a fatal shooting early Sunday morning.
Police released two surveillance photographs of a "person of interest" in this case. It shows a white woman with long hair wearing a dark coat, jeans and black knee-high boots who was walking into a convenience store on North Saginaw Boulevard.
Investigators said they received a 911 call shortly after midnight describing gunfire between two moving vehicles in the 200 block of East Bailey Boswell Road, less than a mile away from that convenience store.
An occupant in one of the cars moved next to the other and opened fire.
A woman in the other vehicle was critically injured and later died at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth. Her identity has not been released.
A police spokesman told News 8 that the victim and the shooter did not know one another.
