DALLAS -- A medical staffing company is trying to recruit more than 200 nurses and paramedics with passports who could take part in a Haitian relief mission in the coming days.

Angel Staffing is leading the effort on behalf of a client, said Shannon Ralston, president/CEO Angel Staffing.

Rescuers from Virginia and California are going in first to assess the situation and find out where the need is greatest.

The Texas team would get 48 hours notice before leaving, Ralston said.

Requirements for interested medical personnel are posted on the Angtel Staffing Web site at www.angelstaffing.net.
