DALLAS -- Water sprayed about 50 feet into the air early Wednesday morning when a water main busted near a northeast Dallas intersection.

Shortly before 4 a.m., the pipe burst sending water shooting out of a hole in front of a McDonald's at Skillman Ave. and Royal Ln.

It took crews from the City of Dallas Water Department about 45 minutes to turn off the water.

Repairs may last several hours.
