FORT WORTH -- The man who drowned in Marine Creek Lake has been identified.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner said Nathan Newberry, 36, of White Settlement, was pulled out of the lake Tuesday evening.
Police said Newberry was trying to swim across the lake when he went underwater.
It took authorities about an hour to recover Newberry's body.
