FRISCO — A Plano man is under arrest after an argument ended in gunfire in the parking lot of a Frisco shopping center early Saturday morning.

Police said the incident started shortly after 1 a.m. with an argument between a man and a woman at The Shops at Starwood at the southwest corner of Lebanon Road and the Dallas North Tollway.

A second man, identified as 40-year-old Christopher Ducret, approached the couple to intervene and allegedly opened fire on the male.

The man who was shot was reported in stable condition at the Medical Center of Plano. His name was not released.

Investigators said Ducret surrendered without incident and has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Police noted that Ducret has a valid concealed handgun license.
