DALLAS - A Dallas man died after his Lake Highlands house caught fire.
The fire broke out late Wednesday night at a house on Mosscrest Drive.
The man lived there with his wife, who uses a wheelchair. Neighbors heard a pop, saw flames coming out of the kitchen and called 911
Firefighters pulled the couple out, but the man later died at a hospital where his wife remained in unknown condition as of Thursday afternoon.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
