DALLAS – Deion Sanders' start-up charter school, Prime Prep Academy, has lost another of its star basketball players for the season.

Jordan Mickey, one of the top ranked high school players in the country, was ruled ineligible Wednesday morning by the local UIL committee charged with enforcing state athletic rules.

The District 11-3A Executive Committee voted 3 - 2 to reject his transfer from Arlington Grace Prep with the belief that he transferred for athletic reasons rather than academics, a violation of state UIL rules.

He is the fourth former Arlington Grace Prep player to be ruled ineligible to play for Prime Prep Academy this season.
