DALLAS — Three people are in jail after police say they carjacked a woman from her apartment complex in the 2600 block of Community Drive in Dallas.
Witnesses told News 8 they saw Anahi Nava, 24, arrive at the complex Monday at 7:14 a.m. As she was getting out of her car, they said the suspects approached her and forced her back into the vehicle at gunpoint.
Dallas police spotted the victim's car in the 3500 block of Wilhurt Avenue in East Oak Cliff several hours later and a brief chase ensued.
Officers caught the suspects after they crashed in the 2400 block of Kiest Boulevard. The victim was still with them. No one was injured.
The names of the suspects have not been released. They are facing charges of aggravated robbery and evading arrest.
