DALLAS — Four people were hospitalized early Saturday after their pickup truck crashed to the pavement  from a downtown Dallas overpass.

The truck was traveling on the ramp from Riverfront Boulevard to westbound Interstate 30 when police said it struck a light pole, went through a guardrail and plummeted to the ground below, landing upside-down.

All four occupants were still alive when emergency workers reached them, but their conditions were not available.

While there was heavy fog in the area at the time of the crash around 1:40 a.m., it was not clear if the weather played a factor in the accident.
