DALLAS - Firefighters were able to quickly contain and extinguish a fire that broke out at Friday morning at a Dallas nursing and rehabilitation center.
A Dallas police officer patrolling the area spotted smoke coming from the Treemont Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center at about 4:45 a.m.in the 5500 block of Harvest Hill Road.
Authorities said the fire started in the kitchen area and spread into a nearby breezeway.
No one was injured in the fire.
