DUNCANVILLE — An off-duty Arlington police officer shot and killed a man outside a Duncanville restaurant overnight.

The Dallas County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident at the Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen at Highway 67 and Cockrell Hill Road.

Investigators say the officer was with at least 20 other guests on a party bus when they returned to their meeting spot in the restaurant's parking lot.

The officer and 45-year-old Wuan May of Arlington got into some sort of argument, and May was shot.

He was taken to Methodist Charlton Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
