DALLAS - A robbery suspect got himself caught by police because of what he allegedly stole.
Dallas police say two armed men robbed a store clerk at the Zang Food Mart and then left with cash, cigarettes and the clerk's cell phone.
The clerk had GPS on the phone and police traced it to a house on Nimitz Drive. Officers said they found the phone, a sawed off shotgun and cash. They also reported finding several IDs from other robberies.
Police said the suspect could be involved in up to six other robberies that occurred from Friday night into the morning hours Saturday.
Authorities are still searching for a second suspect in the Zang Food Mart robbery.
