Fugitive with Dallas ties added to state's most wanted list

The Texas Department of Public Safety is offering a $7,500 reward for information leading to the arrest of an Austin gang member with ties to Dallas. 

Gus Matthew Soto was added to the state's 10 Most Wanted Fugitive list Thursday. 

Soto, 28, is wanted for patrol violation and aggravated robbery, according to a press release. He has an extensive criminal history that includes robbery, assault causing bodily harm, assault of a public servant, drug possession, violation of a protective order and criminal trespass. 

He is considered armed and dangerous. Please contact police if found and do not try apprehend him. 

Soto is 5'6", weighs about 225 pounds and has a variety of tattoos: "Soto" across his upper back, "Perdoname Madre Por Mi Vida Loca" across his chest, two teardrops across his left cheek, "Torez" on the inside of his left forearm, a demon face with horns on his right arm, "Alexis" on the right side of his neck, and the Houston Texans team logo on the right side of his neck, according a press release. 

Soto is also a Texas Syndicate gang member. He has relatives in Dallas, Spring and The Woodlands.
