DALLAS -— Dallas Area Rapid Transit crews are bracing for its busiest day of the year.

Extra trains and buses are preparing to shuttle tens of thousands of fans to the Red River Rivalry, the historic match up between the Oklahoma Sooners and Texas Longhorns.

“A big part of making this work is making sure folks come in early -- we will start our service four hours before game time,” said Morgan Lyons, a spokesperson for DART.

This year, fans can buy DART tickets ahead of time from their smartphones. The new GOPass app lets passengers plan trips and secure a seat to avoid delays on game day.
