ARLINGTON -- During the last few weeks, AT&T Stadium has gone through a series of transitions.

“We had motocross a few weeks ago, monster truck last weekend, and bull riding and rodeo this week, so we put all that dirt in here and kind of shuffle it around and put it to other uses,” said AT&T Stadium spokesman Brett Daniels.

Jerome Robinson has set up arenas worldwide, but this one is different.

“I did one in Muscat, Oman, that was quite a bit bigger than this, but it didn't have a roof over it,” said Robinson, who is charge of making AT&T Stadium rodeo ready.

It is a massive set up in Arlington, including about two separate rodeo arenas split where the 50-yard line would normally be.

“If they're sitting one side, they're going to have trouble seeing the other side, then they've got the big screen,” said bull rider Ryan Dirteater.

Bull riders like Dirteater and Matt Triplett can't wait to perform in Arlington this weekend.

“It’s an honor to ride here,” Dirteater said. “There's only going to be 24 bull riders here Saturday night; the best bull riders in the world going up against the best bulls in the world. One guy has got an opportunity at a million dollars.”

He will try to get that $1 million bonus on Saturday night in the PBR Iron Cowboy event. Triplett will also be riding Saturday. Sunday, he'll be part of the richest one-day rodeo in the history of the sports.

“I'm thrilled to ride here,” Triplett said. “The opportunity to ride for a million dollars both days - two chances - the opportunity of a lifetime. I tell you what, I'm excited.”

And while these cowboys will take center stage this weekend, next week, the dirt will be moved out until next year.

“In a couple of weeks, we're going to have a nice basketball court out here, so it’s a very interesting time for the stadium here as we move through February and March,” Daniels said. “We'll be playing basketball here next month.”
