NORTH RICHLAND HILLS — Employees with the City of North Richland Hills are mourning a colleague's death.
Angela Lozano worked in the city's utilities department. Police found her body inside her apartment early Saturday morning.
Investigators arrested Lozano's 23-year-old son, Justin Cody Collins, for the murder.
"She had an inviting smile. She had a friendly disposition," said City manager Mark Hindman. "She was helpful, and that's the thing we'll miss the most — is that smile and that helpful attitude that she displayed to her customers and also to her co-workers."
Lozano had worked for the city since 2001.
As for her son, Collins remained in jail Sunday on a $1 million bond. Police are still investigating what prompted the violent death.
