ENNIS — Ennis officials fear more buildings could collapse following Wednesday's tornadoes in that Ellis County community.

A structural engineering assessment led to designation of a "potential building collapse zone" around five structures on West Ennis and South Dallas streets.

Workers are doing their best throughout the weekend to secure those buildings.

About 60 percent of storm debris has been cleared where the tornado hit, and power to most Ennis residents has been restored.
