DALLAS — News 8 has confirmed an arrest in the case of the man police say kidnapped women who were on their way to bus stops near Walnut Street and Audelia Road.
The man — identified by police as Marquis White, 21, allegedly kidnapped his victims and took them to a secluded place where he sexually assaulted them at gunpoint.
The first incident was reported on May 29, and the second on June 5. Police released a sketch of the suspect last Tuesday and said they had arrested a suspect on Friday.
White's photo has not been released pending positive identification by assault victims.
