ARLINGTON -- Police are looking for a driver who hit a 64-year-old man on a motorized scooter and didn't stop to render aid.
The victim, James Victor Hawley of Arlington, died of his injuries Monday night, more than a week after he was struck.
On January 14 at 1:30 a.m. a vehicle traveling northbound in the 300 block of N. Collins Street near Division Street struck Hawley on his stand-up, motorized scooter as he was crossing to the west on Collins Street from a QuikTrip.
Another motorist saw Hawley in the road and called 911.
Investigators are looking for a metallic blue GM sedan missing the driver's side mirror, possibly a 2006-2010 model year Chevy Impala.
Anyone with information is asked to call Arlington Traffic Investigator Sean Bridges at 817-459-5635.
