FORT WORTH -- A seven-year-old boy died Tuesday morning after being pulled from a swimming pool on Sunday.

Donald Wright was pronounced dead by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner at 7:13 a.m. No cause or manner of death was listed on the ME's website.

The Fort Worth Fire Department responded to the report of a drowning Sunday at the Falcon Ridge Apartments on Boca Raton Boulevard in east Fort Worth. Upon arriving, firefighters found Wright unresponsive by the apartment complex swimming pool after he was pulled out by another resident.

Firefighters began resuscitative measures until MedStar arrived on the scene and transported the boy to Cook Children's Medical Center.

According to a release from the Fort Worth Fire Department, firefighters were told Wright and his twin brother were playing outside their apartment when they got locked in the swimming pool area and somehow ended up in the water.
