ARLINGTON -- Three people were injured in an early-morning shooting on the grounds of Barnett Junior High School in Arlington.

Arlington police said the three people were wounded when someone fired shots in the area where a group was gathered at about 1 a.m. Friday on the campus.

One of the wounded was found by officers on the school grounds and two others injured walked into a local hospital seeking treatment.

Officers are investigating the shooting as an isolated incident not connected to the school.

The conditions of those injured in the shooting have not been released.
