DALLAS -- DISD police have been looking into allegations that some students at Madison High School were trading naked pictures on social media, text messages, and on school buses.
News 8 has also learned members of the varsity football team are under investigation.
When the Madison High School Trojans took the field against the Farris Yellowjackets Friday night, missing from the starting lineup was No. 18. Daniel McCullough, one of the starting wide receivers, was arrested at school Thursday afternoon for public lewdness.
Court documents obtained by News 8 state McCullough took video of himself and a friend having sex with a girl during school hours in the school's auditorium.
"I think it's bad. Taking all cell phone video has just gone too far," one parent at the game said.
DISD police initially got a complaint that students were having sex on campus and posting some of the photos and videos on the Internet.
Police allege McCullough posted some of the sexually explicit photos on social media.
"They need to have more security in the school," a concerned parent told News 8.
Police arrested McCullough, his friend, Le-Darius Jones, and the girl they allegedly had consensual sex with, Tabitha Smith. WFAA is identifying the students because all three were charged as adults and the act was consensual.
Additionally, News 8 learned other members of the varsity football team are under investigation for allegedly sexting and sharing nude photos.
"I am shocked that members of the varsity football team would do this," another parent said Friday.
A search warrant was served on the home of Daniel McCullough. Police took out computers and phones, looking for the sexually-explicit pictures and videos.
