HOUSTON—A woman was arrested on Friday for allegedly stealing over $20,000 from a non-profit breast cancer support center for indigent women.

Lynn Tran is charged with theft.

Tran was a patient navigator at the Rose, an organization that provided breast cancer screening, other diagnostic services and treatments at times at no cost to the patients. Tran began stealing from the organization around January 1, 2011, and over time illegally obtained over $20,000, according to police.

Tran’s bail was set at $74,196 and she posted bond on Saturday.
