MoJo: Artwork multi-use at Dallas Park
It's a massive structure that doesn't quite fit in Opportunity Park near Fair Park in Dallas. And to a certain degree that is the point. MoJo: Painted parking garage directs Arts Distrcit
From I-45 and throughout the Dallas Arts District it is virtually impossible to miss a massive mural on the side of a parking garage at the Plaza of the Americas. The work was done in 1997 as part of a competition by the Downtown Improvement District. Artists Chris Arnold and Jeff Garrison of eyecon, inc. painted the mural on the north side of the garage. MoJo: Hanging fish icon along I-45
Walter Holmes wanted to do something with the first, old crane at his business near Corsicana. So he mounted it to hang a flag. When he put the crane up, everyone said it looked like a fishing pole.
