  • Are a woman who is 40-years-old and over

  • Have no breast concerns

  • Have not had a mammogram in the last 12 months

  • Have a primary care physician

  • The free mammograms will take place at the Central Texas MarketPlace in Waco

Special Temporary Exhibit: Mourning a President

  • Friday, November 17, 2017 through Monday, February 19, 2018

  • The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza will open a special temporary exhibit, Mourning a President

  • This exhibit presents a compelling chronology of the funeral of President John F. Kennedy and his burial in Arlington National Cemetery on Monday, November 25, 1963, in Washington, D.C.

  • The exhibition will close on Presidents Day, February 19, 2018

  • Registration for this event is full, click here if you would like to be placed on the waitlist

  • This event consists of an airport "rehearsal" specially designed for individuals with autism spectrum disorders, their families and aviation professionals

  • It was created to alleviate some of the stress that families who have a child with autism experience when traveling by air

15th Annual Cedar Open Studios

  • Saturday, November 18, 2017: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

  • Everyone is invited to an artist studio tour highlighting work from the eclectic Cedars community

  • The Cedars Open Studios will host guided tours of the newly restored Longhorn Ballroom at 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.

  • Admission is free

  • A free after-party for the open studios will take place from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Fort Worth Sundance Square Annual Christmas Tree Lighting

  • The Inspiration Band will take the stage at 5:30 p.m.

  • The lighting countdown for the beautiful, LIVE, 65′-foot tall Christmas tree begins at 6:30 p.m.

Truck Yard’s 3rd Annual Chili Cook-Off

  • Sunday, November 19, 2017: 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

  • This annual event will feature recipes from the Dallas Fire Department—because no one knows how to handle heat better than our local firemen!

  • Hungry attendees can stroll about, sampling chili from four teams within the fire department

  • Tickets are $25 and include all four chilis and two beers

  • $5 of every ticket sold will benefit the Local 58 Relief Fund, which provides financial assistance and volunteer services to firefighters in need

2017 XTO Energy Fort Worth Parade of Light

  • Sunday, November 19, 2017: 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

  • For the 35th year, half-a-million lights and more than 100 illuminated floats will cover downtown Fort Worth!
