Director of Community Marketing
We are seeking a Director of Community Marketing responsible for driving community marketing revenue working directly with the sales department and on community services-initiated projects; creating brand awareness/visibility for WFAA and station products; daily management of community services personnel including assistant and free-lance producer.
We are seeking a Director of Community Marketing responsible for driving community marketing revenue working directly with the sales department and on community services-initiated projects; creating brand awareness/visibility for WFAA and station products; daily management of community services personnel including assistant and free-lance producer. The most qualified candidate should:
Be experienced in managing a community services staff; Be experienced in generating revenue from non-traditional sources; Have a depth of media experience (i.e. complete understanding of ratings and revenue); D-FW community and business contacts; track record of working with sales account executives driving incremental dollars.
Knowledge of broadcast equipment such as tape formats, production, HDTV, DTV, etc.
Ability to effectively multitask projects and assignments and to interact productively and positively with the community, clients, senior management and fellow employees.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are critical to this position; ability to work under pressure with assigned deadlines; proven budgetary planning and execution skills very important; working knowledge of various internal systems (Example: OSI) and understanding of inventory entry and tracking preferred.
