A documentary coming 50 years after President John F. Kennedy's death promises rarely-seen footage and testimonies from people who were there that day in November, including Jackie Kennedy's bodyguard and the doctor who tried to save the president's life.

The documentary, The Day Kennedy Died, will air on the Smithsonian Channel on Nov. 17. The director, Leslie Woodhead, joined News 8 at 4 to talk about the project.
