Alex Smith threw for two touchdowns but completed just 21 of his 45 passes for 230 yards. Montee Ball had a pair of short touchdown runs and Peyton Manning passed for 323 yards and a TD as the Broncos pulled even with the Chiefs atop the AFC West at 9-1.

HOMESTEAD, Fla. (AP) — Jimmie Johnson clinched his sixth Sprint Cup title in eight years with a ninth-place finish in the season-ending race at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Johnson is now one behind Richard Petty and the late Dale Earnhardt for the most driver championships in the circuit's history. Matt Kenseth led a race-high 144 laps and earned a second-place finish but ended up 19 points behind Johnson in the Chase standings.

English closed with a 6-under 65 after completing the third round in the morning with a 68. The 24-year-old former University of Georgia star finished at a tournament-record 21-under 263.
