A private foundation announced it will renew a multi-million dollar grant for the funding of after school programs in Dallas.
A local bank and The Wallace Foundation said they will continue funding the Thriving Minds program, which was created to inspire students in the arts and academically.
Big Thought, which manages Thriving Minds, began in 2006 with an $8 million grant from The Wallace Foundation. It now serves more than 300,000 children and families.
The money will give kids a place to go after school where they can learn about the arts and create art themselves.
