Trudeau International Airport
DALLAS — American Airlines said no one was hurt Tuesday night after a Boeing 737 which departed from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport rolled off the runway after landing in Montreal.
Flight 802 left DFW Airport at 4:06 p.m. and landed at Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport at 6:52 p.m. (Central Time).
The 737 carried 105 passengers, four flight attendants and two pilots, the airline told WFAA.
"After landing, the plane went off the runway into the grass," said American Airlines spokesman Billy Sanez. Only the front tires went off the runway into the grass and mud, he added.
The passengers and crew all exited using stairs.
"There was no abrupt stop," Sanez said.
American Airlines has launched an investiagtion and notified the National Transportation Safety Board.
There are no reports of significant damage to the aircraft, Sanez said. "It's a very minor situation."
At the time of the incident, rain was falling and the temperature was in the 40s at Montreal's airport.
