ARLINGTON - Arlington police officers were seeing red Saturday during the 26th Annual Santa Cop Program celebration.
Along with a party, food and music, children visited with Santa Claus.
This year, the Santa Cop Program is working to bring present to around 1,200 Arlington and Mansfield students.
"There is no better reaction than 'wow,' and one of the reasons we do this is we can have the positive interaction with the children," said Randle Meadows, Arlington Police Association.
To make those wows possible, the officers had plenty of elves from the city and local businesses chipping in to help and gather gifts.
