FRISCO — Concerned residents in Frisco are now fighting to get the Exide battery recycling plant shut down.
They have formed a grass roots group called "Frisco Unleaded: Exide Out."
State inspectors found high levels of lead at the plant, and they've cited enforcement issues.
Exide has planned upgrades to reduce lead emissions from the facility.
