Pastry Chef Angela Perry's Soft and Chewy Granola Bars

5 cups quick oats
1 cup chopped macadamia nuts, toasted
2/3 cup honey
4 oz unsalted butter, melted
½ cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup dried blueberries
½ cup toasted coconut

-In a large bowl, mix together oats, nuts, brown sugar, vanilla, salt, blueberries and coconut. Make a well in the center of the dry mixture and add the melted butter and honey. Mix the granola by hand for about 5 minutes, until a clump squeezed together in your hand holds its shape. Press firmly into a parchment-lined pan and bake at 325 F for about 20 minutes, or the edges of the granola begin to brown. Remove from the oven, cool, and cut into bars. Decorate for fun and creativity
