The voice behind TheRumpus.net's popular "Dear Sugar" column, Strayed is the author of the #1 New York Times bestselling memoir Wild, Oprah's Book Club 2.0 inaugural selection. She is a dynamic speaker who inspires audiences with her own story of loss and recovery.

            The dinner, to be in the Landmark Ballroom of the Hyatt Regency Dallas (300 Reunion Blvd.), will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception and silent auction followed by a seated dinner and program.  Strayed will be interviewed at 8:30 p.m. by Sarah Hepola, the personal essays editor at Salon.

We will have 3 action packed performances of the sport’s top rodeo athletes competing in Bull Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Team Roping, Steer Wrestling, Bareback Riding, Tie-Down roping and Barrel Racing!

 

    In addition to the rodeo, there will also be many family oriented activities, including the Texas Stampede Christmas marketplace, Capital One’s Rodeo U, the Western Heritage display area, pony rides, a petting zoo and much, much more!
