Kinky Friedman is a Texas legend. A singer, songwriter, humorist, Texas Monthly columnist and New York Times best-selling author, Friedman has been hailed a modern-day Will Rogers for his satirical observations, music and writing. Friedman is also a founder and benefactor of Utopia Animal Rescue Ranch.
In February 2005, fed up with “Texas politics as usual,” Friedman announced his candidacy in the 2006 governor’s race. Launching a serious—albeit colorful—campaign, Friedman revived the independent spirit of Texas and inspired non-traditional voters to participate in the political process. He hopes to continue to inspire Texans as the Democratic nominee in the 2010 gubernatorial race.
You can see Kinky at the Granada theater next Thursday, February 18th. For time and ticket information log onto

A Dallas native, born and raised in Plano, Texas and the youngest of 4, Kathryn Nordstrom has always loved making people laugh. Kathryn was a natural born entertainer, however, she quickly realized that she was no stand up comedian yet she knew she still had a gift to share with the world and wanted to make people smile.

Pucker Up Impressions was born as miracles often happen; most unexpectedly. While at a party, a skeptic challenged Kathryn's handwriting analysis, palm and tarot reading capabilities. After retouching her lipstick and blotting on a napkin the skeptic passively tossed it aside and mockingly challenged Kathryn to 'read her lips'. Up for the challenge, Kathryn picked up the lip printed napkin and began revealing accurate personality traits and romantic styles. A skeptic no more, the party really started, lips started talking and the fun had begun! Kathryn gets you to KISS and she TELLS!

Pucker Up Impressions is not your average fortune telling. Instead, it focuses on the individual and tells them fun and humorous things about themselves, but in such a way that other people can listen in and be a part of the fun. Focused on helping others and renewing self confidence in oneself is all part of what Kathryn Nordstrom is accomplishing...One Kiss at a time!

For Small Groups: Have everyone sit around a dining room table or in your living room. Have each couple kiss their cards together, and allow the reading to be done for the whole group!

For Large Groups: Start the readings off by having your CEO or the guest(s) of honor being roasted by Kathryn in front of the group!

For adults: Kathryn will discern their kissing styles, relationship strengths and weaknesses and decorating preferences.

Bachelorette Party Version: These readings can optionally include detailed information about what your likes and dislikes are in the bedroom.

For teens: These readings can be solely based on personality, decorating preferences & flirting styles.

For Trade Shows: Lip print readings can be used to create a large draw, and works extremely well for wedding and health and wellness expos.

Optional Add On: An additional person there to help with line control for large events helps to make the line move quickly and smoothly.

Tuna Does Vegas, the hilarious new installment from the legendary “Greater Tuna” creative team, rolls into Casa Mañana Theatre for a strictly limited engagement of eight performances beginning February 9th. Starring the incomparable duo Joe Sears and Jaston Williams, Tuna Does Vegas re-unites the lovable and eccentric characters from the ‘third smallest town in Texas’ as they take a rambling romp in Sin City. The hilarity begins when oddball-conservative radio host Arles Struvie announces on air that he and his wife Bertha Bumiller are heading to Vegas to renew their wedding vows…but everyone in Tuna, Texas goes along for the ride! Written by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears and Ed Howard, Tuna Does Vegas will feature the favorite char acters from the award-winning “Greater Tuna” productions with some new characters too! ----all staged under the directorial hand of Mr. Howard.

Tuna Does Vegas balances as both an affectionate comment on small-town life and attitudes as well a hilarious satire of the same. The eclectic band of citizens that make up this town are portrayed by only Mr. Sears and Mr. Williams, making this send-up on life in rural America even more delightful as they depict all of the inhabitants of Tuna -- men, women, as well as Vegas showgirls, Elvis impersonators and more!

Tickets for Tuna Does Vegas, priced at $63, are on sale now at the Casa Mañana Theatre box office, 3101 West Lancaster Avenue, Fort Worth 76107. For more information call 817-332-2272. For more information about tickets, go to, or for more information about Tuna Does Vegas, go to
