A Dallas native, born and raised in Plano, Texas and the youngest of 4, Kathryn Nordstrom has always loved making people laugh. Kathryn was a natural born entertainer, however, she quickly realized that she was no stand up comedian yet she knew she still had a gift to share with the world and wanted to make people smile.
Pucker Up Impressions was born as miracles often happen; most unexpectedly. While at a party, a skeptic challenged Kathryn's handwriting analysis, palm and tarot reading capabilities. After retouching her lipstick and blotting on a napkin the skeptic passively tossed it aside and mockingly challenged Kathryn to 'read her lips'. Up for the challenge, Kathryn picked up the lip printed napkin and began revealing accurate personality traits and romantic styles. A skeptic no more, the party really started, lips started talking and the fun had begun! Kathryn gets you to KISS and she TELLS!
Pucker Up Impressions is not your average fortune telling. Instead, it focuses on the individual and tells them fun and humorous things about themselves, but in such a way that other people can listen in and be a part of the fun. Starring the incomparable duo Joe Sears and Jaston Williams, Tuna Does Vegas re-unites the lovable and eccentric characters from the ‘third smallest town in Texas’ as they take a rambling romp in Sin City. The hilarity begins when oddball-conservative radio host Arles Struvie announces on air that he and his wife Bertha Bumiller are heading to Vegas to renew their wedding vows…but everyone in Tuna, Texas goes along for the ride! Written by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears and Ed Howard, Tuna Does Vegas will feature the favorite char acters from the award-winning “Greater Tuna” productions with some new characters too! ----all staged under the directorial hand of Mr. Howard.
Tuna Does Vegas balances as both an affectionate comment on small-town life and attitudes as well a hilarious satire of the same.
